Google comes with a private content delivery network. Page Speed provides the caching of files, and then from servers all over the world can be served. It also provides Page Speed optimization of the code.

At this time, Page Speed still free to use; ultimately, must the service be paid, but it is still unknown what it will cost. Users http requests through a dns change to direct to cacheservers of Google, which, in their turn, files of a a reference location pick up. The files are then from the nearest cache server to the visitors served.

It also provides Page Speed optimization of files; thus it is unnecessary white space in code deleted, images will be compressed and adds Page Speed of different css and javascript files together to the number of http requests to reduce. The service may not currently have video, audio, or Flash content serving, and ipv6 and https are not yet supported.

Google introduced last year, an open-source extension for the Apache web server, mod_pagespeed, which is about the same. Wednesday, Google announced that the LevelDB, a C++engine that can be used for databases, open source. Developers can use the software, which of SQLite has, in their software integrate. There are already versions for Windows, Mac OS X, Android and X-based systems, and according to Google is the software easy to porting.
