The only one in the Netherlands available device that currently works with boot manager is the HTC Desire Z: the other devices for which the app is made available only in the United States. However, should the app work on other devices, though they are not supported. The developer warns in the description for any bugs and the fact that the app with some roms have less good works.

Usually, users have a new rom over an old install. The only way to return is restoring a full backup, if available. According to the author of the app is boot manager is especially suitable for developers.

Boot manager works by allowing the different boat.img-files of the custom roms on the sd card and the rom so from the sd card is started. Because sd cards are often slower than internal memory, can roms also slower to work than when they are in the conventional manner are installed.
