The first details of the Opteron 6200-series processors for servers on the Bulldozer architecture are based are known. The cpu’s in the coming autumn and expect to get eight, twelve or sixteen cores.
The Opteron 6200-series should be the server equivalent of the FX-series processors. That cpus for the consumer market intended to be, and the details thereof have already been known for some time. Information about the server processors, however, was scarce, but CPU-World has the specifications formulated on the basis of a Gateway-server with Opterons from the 6200 series. The website has published specifications of the four Opteron 6200 processors in socket G34 inserted.
The two top models in the Gateway-server can be placed, each of which has sixteen cores. The Opteron 6272 has a clock speed of 2.1 GHz, while the Opteron 6276 the speed up to 2.3 GHz opschroeft. The Opteron 6234-dodecacore let his twelve cores at 2.4 GHz tapping and the octacore Opteron 6220 has a clock speed of 3GHz. Further, only few specifications are known, but the 6272 would be a tdp of 115W, about 16MB of L3 cache, and 849 dollars.
