Apple calls the iMac the hdd’s back

Apple is a recall started for defective 1TB drives from Seagate, which the company uses for its iMacs. According to Apple, it is a very small number of the discs, which under certain conditions can break down.

It comes to the 21.5″ and 27″-iMac of the last generation, which Apple between may 2011 and July 2011 has sold. Only the 1TB versions would with the problem. The company sends emails to owners that their e-mail address specified at registration. Other users can have their serial number on the support page to see if they have a model that is eligible for replacement.

Users can then contact the store where they make their product bought, or they can be the supplier or the support team of Apple to enable. Apple offers up to 23 July 2012 to to defective Seagate drives to replace. Details about the problems with the drives Apple gives is not and also the number of cases is unknown.
