Pc version of Skyrim comes with Creation Kit

In the pc version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the Creation Kit, an editor that allows fans mods for the game. The pc version will get a more graphical options than the desk version of the rpg.

On the forum of developer Bethesda Softworks to give three employees of the studio answer questions from fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the rpg that, in november, the market must appear. In the session of questions answers game director Todd Howard some questions about the pc version. So let Howard loose that the Creation Kit for the pc-version will be included, so that fans mods for the game. “The modden and your own version of the game, it is very important for us and our fans, so we will be on that area as much as possible, continue to do so,” says Howard.

The game director also looks at the differences between the version for the pc and the versions for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. “The pc version will get the textures of higher resolution, better rendering options and some other effects that you can turn if you have a beast of a machine,” says Howard. The interface of the pc-version looks the same as that of the desk version. That interface gives much more information than its predecessor, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. In the words of Howard: “The interface there will be less look like: look at these huge fonts, like in Oblivion.” The game director makes further clear that on the pc it is easier to quick saves to perform. There will be no separate 64-bit executable for Skyrim. Howard does not support DirectX 11.
