Doom and Commander Keen-developer John Romero has a video online where a demo from 1990 of Super Mario Bros. 3 for the pc. Romero has the video ge lwa pload to the 25th anniversary of the game Commander Keen to celebrate.

Romero shows that it is a demo that his studio, Ideas from the Deep made in 1990 to Nintendo to show how Super Mario Bros 3. would look on the pc. The graphics of the demo were not as nice as in the original Super Mario Bros. 3, and also the controls were not as smooth, but the demo does show the want to Nintendo games to the pc and to bring all long period of time.

Nintendo is clearly not on the offer in order for the game to the pc and to bring into effect. Ideas from the Deep is later renamed to id Software, and has become known for with games like Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, and Commander Keen. Currently working in the studio on a new Doom for pc, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The will to the games to be able to play on anything other than the original Nintendoconsoles still exists. GameCube and Wii games using the Dolphin emulator playable made on pc, and also to the emulation of the Wii U is being worked on. Could in October the Wii U emulator Cemu yet but just the menu of the Mario Kart 8 show, now shows a new video the game somewhat playable.

The quality of the game that the Cemu is still far from comparable to the quality of the Wii U itself. So the graphics are less, the game runs much slower and is audio still not available. The difference between the old and the new version of the emulator is significantly and shows that maybe in the future the Wii U games playable on the pc.
