Two astronomers have found evidence for the existence of a ninth planet in our solar system. ‘Planet Nine’, would be two hundred times as far from the sun as the earth, and at least ten thousand years to do a circuit around the sun.

The astronomers, the planet itself is not seen, but saw evidence in the orbits around the sun and of other celestial bodies, reports New Scientist. The chance of that by chance would have been caused would be negligible.

The unknown planet would be five to ten times as large as the Earth, a year that between 10,000 and 20,000 earth years in an elliptical orbit around the sun. The two scientists publish their findings in the Astronomical Journal. One of the two astronomers responsible for the finding of Eris, an object with the characteristics of Pluto. Because of the finding of such celestial object is Pluto no longer classified as a planet, and counts the solar system eight planets.
