Who is an amusement park of Universal Studios visit will probably sit in a Zelda or Mario Kart roller coaster. Nintendo has a licentiedeal with Universal closed, so that characters from the Nintendo universe in the parks may be included.
This is more than just a hot dog stand where Mario characters sticky buns sell: according to the two companies is going to be important attractions that a Nintendo character will get. It is therefore obvious that we Mario – or Zelda-roller coasters in the past will see, but for now it remains speculation.
Dutch, Belgians and other Europeans will, however, quite the purse to pull in a Nintendo-coaster session: as yet there are no Universal theme parks in Europe. Currently, the company has two amusement parks in America, one to the west and one on the east coast, in addition to theme parks in Japan and Singapore. It is an amusement park under construction that is a little closer to home, namely in Moscow.
Nintendo made the deal known at the presentation of its annual figures over 2014. Last year was Nintendo for the first time since 2011 net profit. The Japanese spellengigant turned a profit of 41 billion yen, the equivalent of some 300 million euros. The company knew in the past year, 9 million, 3DS-models to sell, but the sales of the Wii U fell against, with 3.6 million pieces. In total, Nintendo has 9,54 million Wii U’s sold, half of the number sold GameCubes.
