Telecomblog GSM Arena has photos posted of the Nokia Zeta, an unannounced smartphone with Symbian Belle on it. The photos show the new homescreen of Belle, with new icons and a notificatiemenu.

The Nokia Zeta would be the successor to the C6-01, a midrange device with Symbian^3. The Zeta has, according to GSM Arena, a 3.2″ screen with a resolution of 640×360 pixels. He would 110x51x10mm large and 80 grams. This would make the device one of the lightest smartphones on the market.

The Zeta would be one of the first devices with Symbian Belle, the successor of Symbian Anna. The first aircraft with Anna came in June in the shop, but Belle is scheduled for later this year. In Belle, the text-based buttons at the bottom of the screen replaced by icons, while notifications appear in a drop-down menu at the top of the screen, an element that is copied from Android. Belle was also seen on photos of the alleged N5, which is codenamed 600 Cindy.

The name of the Zeta dove more than a week ago in a leaked document with some specs of the unannounced Nokia’s with Symbian. Therein, it was called the device also called Nokia 700. It is unclear when the new devices are exactly on the market.
