Samsung brings next week the portable media player Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 with 5″screen in the Netherlands on the market, as well as the Galaxy S Wifi 4.0 with a 4″display, and the Galaxy Player 50. Also, the prices become known.
The mediaspeleruitvoeringen of the popular Galaxy S smartphone include wi-fi and gps, but do not offer 3g. The Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 has a 5″tft-lcd with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Depending on the version of the Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 media players with 8 or 16GB of flash storage and a retail price of, respectively, 299 and 329 euro. The players are available in a white and a black housing.
Samsung also has two models with a 4″screen, the Galaxy S Wi-fi 4.0. The specifications largely correspond to the 5.0 version, but the battery capacity is 1200mAh more limited than the 2500mAh battery in the Galaxy S Wi-fi 5.0. The 8GB version will have a suggested retail price of 249 euros, while the 16GB edition 279 euro must yield. Both models have a white housing.
The cheapest media player in the Galaxy series called Galaxy Player 50. This is equipped with a 3.2″display. The G-50 with 8GB internal storage has a price of 199 euros, while the 16GB version and 219 euros for the muster.
