Panasonic has its Toughbook series, an Android tablet with 10.1″screen for the business market, announced. The manufacturer wants to distinguish itself with a very solid tablet design and a screen that is very legible.

The 10.1″screen has a resolution of 1024×768 pixels, and the software is based on Googles Android operating system where the version number is not listed. Furthermore, support for 3g and 4g optional. Panasonic leave nothing loose about the rest of the specifications, like the processor used.

In addition, the tablet can take a beating and in ‘extreme’ circumstances are able to function.

Panasonic comes with a range of accessories for business use and provides a stylus with the Toughbook tablet. The manufacturer made, however, not known when the Android tablet is released and whether or not Dutch consumers, the device can buy.
