The only drawback that I have experienced is the installation of the wi-fi section. This is what you need to the thermostat through the app and the portal to operate. If your router is not on a fixed channel is set, your SSID is not recognized by the ThermoSmart. Took a while before I realized it. Now the router on a fixed channel is set, the thermostat like a charm.
Easy-to-use interface, both in the app (Android only) if the portal online. Through collaboration with IFTTT allows you to more clever tricks to apply. Topding!
