“Student association university of Eindhoven breaks world record for largest Tetris”

Study association Thor of the TU/e of Eindhoven has the world record for the largest game of Tetris to pack. The game has a surface area of thousands of square meters and consists of leds and half-balls.

The record still has no official confirmation received from Guinness, the company that records tracks for his Book of World Records, but Thor, the study association of electrical engineering students of the TU/e are convinced that that confirmation will come. It is the second attempt, after the first attempt of Thor two years ago failed, writes Cursor.

The Tetris game is currently in the MetaForum building of the TU/e. Later this month, may, interested parties can only marvel at the great Tetris game, as the upright on the building Potential will be. In the week of 15 december, visitors can control the game with joysticks.

The game consists of 3200 leds and half-balls, that the light should spread. The attempt ran delay on when short-circuiting originated in the mains, but eventually it worked the game Monday afternoon, just before it became dark; when the students made the necessary four rows complete for the attempt.
