Konami wants to remake Metal Gear Solid make

Kojima Productions’ Matsuhana has let know that the original Metal Gear Solid not in the upcoming HD Collection is because of its dated gameplay and appearance. The Konami studio wants the game, however, like to re-release.

This allowed Yoshikazu Matsuhana know in an interview with Eurogamer.net. The creative producer of Kojima Productions gave that not only the graphics of the PlayStation classic to be dated to the titles as an addition to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection makes sense: for the gameplay is true according to him is the same. The producer believes that more than an hd clean-up of the textures needed to make a remake interesting for a new generation.

The studio would, for example, some elements of the gameplay and the story will not adjust. “We hope to definitely do in the future, but such a thing takes significantly more time than the current HD Collection project. It is not something we are doing at this moment.” The original Metal Gear Solid is already a time previously re-released by developer Silicon Knights. That company came in 2004 with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. This heruitgebrachte version appeared, however, exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube.

At the end of last week, unveiled in Kojima Productions, for the arrival of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. This collection contains Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The bundling republications supports 1080p playback and will appear for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Metal Gear Solid collection as of the end of this year on the store shelves, but when that exactly will be the case, it is not yet known.
