This year, from 23 to 25 november the Gameplay fair in Utrecht Jaarbeurshallen held. For the first time in the history of this exhibition covers the event in two halls, so that there is more to see than in previous years. Naturally, they were on the first day all nextgenconsoles of the party, as well as a number of large developers and shops. Mainly Ubisoft and Electronic Arts jumps stood out, with, respectively nine and fifteen different playable games from home on their stands.

For all of the consoles were dozens of new games to play, including some that are not yet on the market have appeared. The Wii seemed, however, less represented than the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. There were a few pods scattered about the halls, where little use was made and a special cottage for Mario Galaxy with a dozen Wii’s, where a whole row of people stood waiting.

Gaming is in addition to the fun, for the win, as well as in Gameplay. There were several competitions, including that of Unreal Tournament 3: on the Acer/Intel-booth was there on laptops fought against one of the best UT-players, Laurens Pluijmakers. On the Free Record Shop stand had dozens of people signed up for the Guitar Hero III competition, and also our own Phobos.

Because the Gameplay fair is spread out over two halls there is more than enough space for all the stands and you can quiet all along without too much push – and drawgear. However, you have, despite the larger size, probably after half a day of everything already seen. About seen, spoken to, this year, there was good air in boothbabes:
