The first bionic arm, there is already a time. Last year, the U.s. Food and Drug Administration the device is still good, which meant that the commercial can be sold. The prosthesis was developed by Deka Research and Development and was Luke called, a reference to Luke Skywalker and his prosthetic arm from Star Wars. Darpa is experimenting in the meantime continue with the device.

The volunteers that the bionic arm will want to use, connect the device to existing muscles of the arm that is amputated. The system is modular in design, allowing people with a partially amputated arm in the prosthesis. The prosthesis reads electric signals which are emitted by the muscles and thus determine which movements must be made.
