Tax-on-web, a Belgian program to the browser income tax return to do, does not work with Firefox 4 and IE9. That says, the helpdesk of the concerned public service FPS Finance lwa n. Users must have an old browser.
The federal department of Finance sends, on request, even a manual to an old version of Firefox to download to Tax-on-web, reports the Belgian newspaper De Standaard. Tax-on-Web supports only two browsers, so says the message above in image: Internet Explorer and Firefox. Of IE versions 5.5 to 8 in the 32-bit variant is supported, of Firefox, only version 3.x.
IE is now on version 9, and Firefox has to deal with release 4. Chrome, Safari and Opera are not supported. It is unclear how it is with the support for 64-bit versions of IE. The federal department of Finance could be compared to the Standard does not address the issue.
